Evangelista Billy Graham hospitalized
North Carolina, the USA - Evangelista Billy Graham was hospitalized close to his residence on Saturday morning to be attended of an intestinal ulcer, said the managers of the center.
88-year-old Graham, was resting on Saturday evening, said the spokeswoman of Mission Health and Hospitals, Merrell Gregory, in Asheville. Graham's doctors said that his state does not seem to be serious, according to the spokesman of the preacher evangelista Larry Ross and he added that might be discharged in a pair of days.
The hospital said in a declaration that the Graham's state became stable after being deposited and that an endoscopio and a scanner indicated that there are no hemorrhages in the gastrointestinal conduit. “The hemorrhage has stopped”, said Ross. “It stopped with the same rapidity that it began”.
The hospital said that the initial hemorrhage might have stemmed from a diverticulitis. Ross said that Graham suffered a similar hemorrhage during the crusade of 1995 in Toronto. Graham's wife for 64 years, Ruth Bell Graham, died in June after going on several months in bed with osteoporosis degenerative from the back and the neck.
