Four boys died and 5 more were hurt, the causer a gunman who "hated" the evangelical Christians

Denver. Five persons have died this last Sunday, the 9th of December in two happened shootings, with twelve difference hours, in two evangelical centers in Colorado (USA), between them the author of the shots, a spiteful anti-Christian one, who committed suicide. In the time between two attacks it hung on Internet new hate messages against the evangelical ones.

In the first incident, an armed man popped in in the bedroom of a Christian center dedicated to the formation of missionary young people in Denver (Colorado) and opened fire against several of the occupants, what caused the death of two employees and hurt two more.

The armed man caused wounds to four young people, two of which died, 26-year-old Tiffany Jonhson, and 24-year-old Phillip Kronse. Others two remain hospitalized, with gravity wounds, added the police of Arvada, 15 kilometers to the northwest of the center of the city of Denver.

“THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE”“GENTE MARAVILLOSA”
Four victims were members of the personnel of the center (belonging to Youth With to Mission, YWAM), said Paul Filidis, spokesman of YWAM, on having referred to two deceased young people.

Brady White, who is present at the Church Faith Bible, where the center of YWAM is located, said for his part that he had spoken with some of the students, who qualified the experience of “frightening“. “They are the wonderful people”, said White of the students. “His goal is to meet better God and to spread his message”.

The incident happened concerning the midnight from Saturday, the 8th until Sunday, the 9th of December (hour of Denver). The killer later knew that he was 24-year-old Mattew Murray, member of an evangelical Christian family. His father is a neurologist and investigator of the suffering known as multiple sclerosis.

Murray dressed in dark jacket and hood, entered the common areas of the enclosure and began a conversation with some of the young people who were studying in the center, which he asked if it could stay there. The young people, according to the versions of the witnesses, said to him that it was not possible to lodge in the center, moment in which it extracted a weapon and began to shoot.

The drama took place in the places of “Youth with to mission” (YWAM, JCUM for his initials in Castilian: "Young people with a mission”). JCUM (YWAM) is a well-known Christian organization founded in 1960. Approximately 45 persons were in the JCUM building when the event happened. It is a question of a center that receives dozens of young people of different parts of the world, which prepare themselves to be Christian missionaries. After the shooting, the center of ´Young people with a Mission´, located in the outskirts of the city of Denver, was evacuated.

THE SECOND ATTACK, TO ANOTHER EVANGELICAL CHURCH
Twelve hours later, approximately at midday of Sunday, the 9th of December, Murray realized the second attack in Colorado Spring, placed to a hundred of kilometers of the place of JCUM. It was in the Church of the New Life, where it began to shoot on the crowd that was going out of the religious service.

Murray hurt of death two of the parishioners, and another three persons turned out to be also wounds in this attack, with what the whole of injured men is five, just as that of deceased including to proper Murray, who committed suicide after this second attack.

In the beginning it was thought that Murray died after receiving a bullet of a safety agent in the evangelical church New Life, stage of the second attack on Sunday; but in fact he committed suicide, as he confirmed this last Tuesday the police after the autopsy.

This gathering is one of the biggest of the State of Colorado, with approximately 10.000 parishioners, and it was founded by reverend Ted Haggard, who was dismissed last year by “sexual immorality”, after a man was revealing that it supported sex with him for three years in exchange for money.

Matthew Murray, the 24-year-old gunman who murdered on Sunday four persons, before committing suicide, it seems that “it had been expelled from the program (of missionaries) three years ago, and during the last weeks he had sent different types of post office full of hate to the program and/or to his director”, detective Bradley Pratt has declared, of the police of Colorado Springs.

Apparently it put an anti-Christian message and against the evangelical ones in an Internet place for persons who have left evangelical groups.

But the most recent message was the same Sunday, the 9th of December morning, in the interval between his two attacks (in Arvada and in Colorado Springs), as there has revealed the broadcasting station of television KUSA-TV of Denver, the first one who reported on these messages in Internet. “You, Christians, have looked for it”, wrote Murray, according to the television broadcasting station. “Everything what he wanted to do is to kill and to hurt to your biggest quantity”.

The style is almost identical to the text of a manifesto written by Eric Harris, one of the adolescents who committed a slaughter in the school Columbine, in 1999, reported the newspaper The Denver Post. In Columbine's slaughter 12 students and a teacher died, and 23 persons were hurt. The attackers committed suicide.
